From Crowsnest Farm in Foster RI:
“Our honey is raw and unfiltered, which means that all of the good stuff is still right there in the bottle. Most commercial bee farms will heat their honey so that bottling is a faster process. This can destroy the naturally-occurring components of honey that keep it from spoiling, and also ruins many of the health benefits that makes honey an ideal natural food. We don’t believe in that, so we make sure our honey stays exactly how nature intended it to be: raw and unfiltered.
We harvest our honey multiple times during the season and because of this there may be slight variations in color and taste from one bottle to the next. This is because the bees will gather nectar from different pollen sources that are in bloom during different times of the season. Many people think that this may help with seasonal allergies…we just think it’s delicious!”
