FAQ

WHY FRESH JUICE?

Simply pressed and bottled, our juices give you all the flavor, nutrients and more. Freshly pressed juices sound very simple but bottling adds complexity. Because we do not pasteurize our juice, Fully Rooted products have a very limited shelf life and the freshness is what makes us stand apart from other juices sold.

BUT PASTEURIZATION IS GOOD, ISN’T IT?

Pasteurization is great and has allowed us to scale as a society (cue the juice in every grocery store). However, during the pasteurization process both the good and bad enzymes are killed off which leave us to consume nutritionally incomplete beverages that usually alter the taste so companies add in flavoring, sugars, dyes, and vitamins to compensate. We are advocates for fresher products. With proper food handling and abiding by proper shelf life, we have been able to make fresh juices accessible.
 
SHELF LIFE
Our cold-pressed juices have a 3-5 day shelf life. Our kombucha has a best by date on the bottle of each bottle which has a 6-month shelf life. 
 
$10 TEMPORARY CHARGE
The preauthorization hold occurs per swipe or tap, regardless if the customer opened the fridge or not. As soon as the transaction ends, the hold is released. The bank can take up to 7 business days depending on the bank before the hold is released. The pre-authorization is to prevent theft and ensure there is enough to cover the charge on the card before opening the fridge. 
 
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT IS IN THE FRIDGE? 
Each fridge has a swipe-able menu with updated products, ingredients, and pricing. Each product has ingredients on the cap or back of the bottle with use by dates.
